Call centre break times
At my last employment in call centre I was told by management that my breaks shouldn't be more than 2 hours 45 minutes apart.

At my current job my breaks can be upto 3 hours 30 minutes apart.

Can anybody help me out here, is the a scheduling rule that needs to be followed by the scheduling team?

It depends upon the company
Legally it is one break per 6 hours.

Workers have the right to one uninterrupted 20 minute rest break during their working day, if they work more than 6 hours a day. This could be a tea or lunch break.

The break doesn’t have to be paid - it depends on their employment contract.

But it is better practice to have a break every couple of hours if you want the workers to be fresh.
