Hi Jonty,

Thank for the advise. I'm now trying for spreadsheet self plotting schedule. May i check in current test / practise environment, was there any best practise that telling the best allocation for 24 hours center shift from 00:00 - 23:30.

For example, 24 hours shift recommend to have 10pm - 7am shift, then 5am - 2pm shift, then 9am - 6pm shift follow by 3pm - 12am and etx ? Because in my self plotting, if i need to cover all interval then every single interval will have schedule to come in, that make incovenient to the worker.

hi. can i check if there are an recommended low cost auto rostering tools which is able to auto generate a workforce roster with the consideration of staff's competency level/ language requirement in a shift?

I managed to find abc roster which i think manage to meet my requirements. It is a rare free tool which enable auto generation of roster.

For the manpower forecast. Yes i do erlang c . What i do is obtain a list of required headcount by varying and asceding volume. Do a simple vlookup to ur varying half hourly volume to gauge ur required manpower for the shift or day
