Genesis wde and Skype: Calls drop when already in call with the agent
Hi,
Don't know if anyone already had this issue? We use WDE and Skype for our Contact Center. The issue is, when the call is arriving with the agent, it gets picked up and when the conversation is going on it drops after several seconds. Sometimes calls are ringing with no effective call behind it. Agents picking up the call and aren't hearing anything.

Is there a cause of these dropped calls?
Anyone that had this issue yet?

How reliable is Skype?
It could be that there is an issue with Skype. I have found skype to be rather unreliable particularly in terms of setting up a call.

It may be worth contacting Genesys to see if they can run any diagnostics to show where the problem lies.
