How to calculate staffing for emails?
Please help, I have this exercise and I can't figure it out.
I have 3 queues with different first response times and production levels.
Queue A - 453 emails - 12h FRT - 107 emails processed in 8h shift
Queue B - 137 emails - 24h FRT - 100 emails processed in 8h shift
Queue C - 673 emails - 48h FRT - 200 emails processed in 8h shift
How can I calculate the required staff? I tried using Erlang C but I get lost.

The easiest way is to add them all together
While you could go through each of them in turn and work out the staffing, it is much easier if you add all of them together. It may not be quite as accurate, but it will be close enough.

So work on 453 + 137 + 673 = 1263 emails - 12h FRT - 107 emails processed in 8h shift

You also need to find out what the average handling time is.
