Having Just gone through the process I thought I'd add a bit to Jonty's comments.
The questions he's given you are good, I'd just add a couple I was asked.
- How do you break down and communicate complex ideas.
- Can you run us through the planning lifecycle.
Now, a lot is not just what you say but HOW you say it.
Break the question down and use the STAR (Situation, Task, Action, Result) using this give
an example of when you had a situation as described and how you approached it.
I had several interviews where I felt I didn't get the whole 'idea' over of how I had approached a problem.
I then started looking at interview technique. If Jonty will permit I'd recommend InterviewGold. I took a few
hours going through their website and interview planner.
I then had two more interviews and was offered both immediately. It seemed revising how I was answering
and re-structuring the whole answer made a lot of sense and led to positive results.
