Telephone Systems within Contact centres

Hello everyone, long time reader first time poster! I was wondering if anyone has a preference as to which telephone system you would choose to use within your contact centre and why?

I am currently doing some research for my employer on usability of telephone systems and thought you may be able to offer me some advice.

Avaya seems to figure quite highly in contact centres , followed by specialists ones called Aspect and going back some Rockwell Spectrum,STS

Other major ones include Mitel and I guess Cisco must be in there somewhere

Depends on the size of the contact centre

Is the contact centre focused on inbound or outbound activity ?

Also how many seats does your centre have ?
