Webchat and Website Traffic
We are considering adding webchat to our business shortly, and I am trying to get an idea as to how much traffic we might see. Does anyone have historical data of their website visits and what percentage of those visits turn into chat session requests?

It varies so much that the only way to find out will be to do a trial.

It could be 1% it could be 0.1% or it could be 0.01%

Start offering it at certain times of day to a small team of two people. You can then get some metrics and then build up the staffing model accordingly.

It may be worth looking at the email volumes and assuming that a similar number of emails would also come across in LiveChat.
