Carpeo have a different approach to the answer machines that they get through to. Rather than hanging up, they leave a message and get the customer to call back.

“The customer can then call you at time that is more convenient to them. We find that the conversion rates on call backs into the contact centre is 3 times that of outbound calls,” said Andy Griffin, one of the directors of Carpeo.
