Lifesize and Serenova have announced they will operate under the Lifesize brand, effective immediately.

The unified company name is part of a rebrand initiative stemming from the companies’ previously announced merger and long-term strategy to serve the enterprise communications market with a complementary suite of scalable cloud-based solutions.

“In less than three months since completing our merger, Lifesize has seen strong demand for both our video conferencing and contact centre solutions as organizations globally have accelerated investments in enterprise-grade communication solutions,” said Craig Malloy, CEO of Lifesize.

“As we continue expanding our portfolio, the strong heritage and global presence of the Lifesize brand offers us a solid foundation to deliver new value to customers through a differentiated approach to solving enterprise communication challenges with a single-vendor solution.”

Additionally, Lifesize announced the appointments of Josh Kivenko as chief marketing officer and Rick Froehlich as chief revenue officer to jointly lead global go-to-market strategy and execution.

As chief marketing officer, Kivenko oversees all marketing-related functions, including brand, product marketing, public/analyst relations, field marketing, growth and business development.

A marketing executive with extensive experience scaling B2B marketing organizations, Kivenko previously served as VP of marketing at Upland Software, CMO at Bulldog Solutions/Hive9 Software and held various marketing leadership positions at Dell and TELUS.

As chief revenue officer, Froehlich oversees all aspects of sales and sales operations, including both direct and indirect sales via Lifesize’s global channel ecosystem.

He is also responsible for regional go-to-market strategy and execution, as well as cross-functional integration of the sales motion with other organizations inside Lifesize.

Prior to Lifesize, Froehlich served as CRO at Rackspace and Earthlink. Earlier in his seasoned career, he also held general manager and various sales leadership roles at Dell, Oracle and EMC and was a management consultant at A.T. Kearney.

Kivenko and Froehlich join Lifesize in the midst of a period of rapid business growth and innovation for the company.

In March, Lifesize announced free, unlimited video conferencing for all organizations worldwide in response to the COVID-19 health crisis and swift rise of remote work.

Soon thereafter, the company launched a Rapid Response program designed to help organizations enable work-from-home contact centre agents in 48 hours or less via its CxEngage cloud solution.

Recently, Lifesize also introduced a new native integration with the Alexa for Business intelligent assistant, offering customers the ability to deploy touchless, voice-controlled video collaboration on meeting room systems as employees return to physical offices.

“As organizations rebound from the pandemic, immersive digital communication experiences will play a critical part in driving organizational resilience, whether that is in a contact centre, a fully remote role or some other modern workplace,” said Josh Kivenko, CMO of Lifesize.

“Under our newly unified brand, Lifesize is prepared to support customers in their adoption of cloud-based technologies to meet the moment, offering peace of mind and business continuity spanning all employee and customer communications channels.”
