Almost Half of Contact Centres Still Take Card Payments Over the Phone


According to our poll, taking card payments over the phone is still the most used payment system in the call centre, with 48% of contact centre still doing so.

We don’t take card payments – 34%
Agents takes card payment over the phone – 48%
Customer uses keypad but agent can’t hear tones- 11%
Transfer to IVR card payment – 12%
Self service card payment – 30%
