BAU means the normal state of operations for the contact centre. It is the opposite of AHOD, which stands for All Hands on Deck.

During BAU there is generally no need for overtime and it usually means that service levels are regularly being met.

Examples of use

  • We are back to BAU. (We are back to normal)
  • With the new marketing campaign it could be several days to BAU.
