What Is ESG?

ESG stands for Environmental Social and Governance. It is a framework for contact centre leaders (and other business leaders) to manage risks and opportunities related to environmental, social, and governance criteria.

It’s a broad framework that reiterates that being more sustainable in the long term goes above and beyond just addressing environmental issues.

Driving the ESG agenda in the contact centre has further benefits, as it can also have a positive impact on engaging staff, attracting new talent, and retaining customers by being seen to take proactive steps to achieving NetZero targets and more.
