The detailed agenda for Customer Strategy & Planning 2013 has been released. Taking place at Chesford Grange, Warwickshire, on 29 and 30 April, the agenda includes specific sessions on strategy, customer experience and quality, performance, MI & analytics as well as core planning topics such as forecasting and flexibility.

The conference has been designed to allow delegates to build their own agendas for the two days.

Key speakers include the following, with many more yet to be announced:

  • Moira Clark, Professor of Strategic Marketing at Henley Business School and an expert in Strategic Customer Management
  • Colin Robertson, Director of Operations at Lloyds Banking Group, and Dwain McDonald, Chief Executive Officer at GeoPost UK (DPD), discussing whether organisations are fit for their customers’ purpose
  • Sophie Patrikios, Senior Director Consumer Services at LEGO, talks about their experience

Highlights include:

  • Workshops, facilitated by Planning Forum specialists, on topics including analytics, back office, quality framework, forecasting, creating a climate of customer focus and flexibility, to name but a few
  • 18 brand new case-study presentations from Customer Contact Innovation Award finalists
  • Specialist full-day forums will also be held in outbound contact, back-office planning, field planning and public service transformation
  • Speed networking – back by popular demand to get you in front of the 6 people you really want to meet – but only if they want to meet you!

“Regulars describe this as one of the leading events in the industry’s calendar,“explains Steve Woosey, Chief Executive of the Professional Planning Forum.

“We work hard to offer a truly remarkable range of speakers, research, case studies, workshops and discussion forums to reflect the topics that our members request. We urge resource planners and operational managers to use this chance to understand the key ingredients for successful innovation, to learn from what has driven improvement in other organisations and to identify the next steps that can deliver both personal and operational success.”

Bringing together participants from all industry sectors, the conference will include the Innovation Awards Gala Dinner, an exhibition and a real focus on networking and discussion with colleagues from other organisations who face similar challenges to help them to identify practical insight to take back and apply in their own organisation.
