We have a few people on the move within the industry this month.

Here we bring you news of new appointments at Bright, NewVoiceMedia, Talking Tayside, Ember and GHM, and new offices for Red Box Recorders.

Bright UK team expanded

Mr Shane Madz is joining Bright’s expanding team as Business Development Manager.

Shane will be responsible for increasing Bright’s client portfolio in 2013 and beyond, as well as preparing further expansion of the Business Development team.

Mats Rennstam, MD at Bright, comments:  “Shane has huge experience in his field and also comes with a big personality and positive attitude which will fit well within our existing team.  We are looking at an intense year ahead with the launch of bigger and better versions of both our benchmarking product Bright Index as well as the customer satisfaction tool Bright Navigator. Shane is going to be key in this and we are very pleased to welcome him on board”.


NewVoiceMedia appoints Director of HR and Recruitment

NewVoiceMedia has appointed Gary Lane as Director of HR and Recruitment.

Gary joins from salesforce.com where he managed recruitment in a number of EMEA locations. NewVoiceMedia’s new US office will bring the company closer to Salesforce as it works on extending its partnership.

New chair takes the reins at Talking Tayside

Talking Tayside, Tayside’s contact centre forum, has a new chair – Susan Sidey, who has worked in the contact centre industry for almost 21 years.

“Since being established by Dundee City Council in 2000, this public-private partnership has successfully fulfilled its aims of developing and promoting the local contact centre industry. As chair, I want to push Talking Tayside forward by reinforcing and developing our community and our industry.”

“As chair, I want to motivate our members to do even more. I want there to be more opportunities for Talking Tayside and its members to highlight the fantastic opportunities available in the contact centre industry. I want to increase the number of opportunities available for members to come together and discuss what works for them and what doesn’t. And, of course, I want to get more contact centres on board so Talking Tayside can provide them with its invaluable assistance and support.”

“I’ve always found the contact centre industry to be dynamic, pioneering and exciting and, as chair of Talking Tayside, I am delighted to have the opportunity to be so closely involved in supporting and developing it,” she concluded.


Ember appoints Simon Foot as Principal Consultant

Customer management consultancy Ember Services has expanded its team with the appointment of Simon Foot as Principal Consultant. Simon brings to Ember 15 years’ experience, both as a transformational consultant and an industry practitioner.

“Simon’s experience both in leading customer operations and in thought leading consulting for big brand clients makes him an ideal addition to the Ember team, where our pragmatic consulting approach is shaped by real-world business experience,” says Ember Director, Mike Havard.

GHM welcomes three industry experts to their growing team

GHM are delighted to announce that Helen Davenport, Malcolm Whitham and Martin Thompson have joined their growing team of engineers and customer support.

At GHM Helen will be supporting both the customer and GHM internally with all installation and maintenance enquiries.  Malcolm will head up the care provision at GHM.  Senior Engineer, Martin Thompson has over 12 years’ experience working with Samsung resellers. GHM customers will now be able to benefit from his wealth of technical skills and knowledge.

Red Box Recorders opens new global headquarters

Red Box Recorders has opened a new global headquarters at the Bradmore Business Park in Nottingham. The company has moved from its existing location in Tollerton to the modern, state-of-the-art building to support its business strategy.

The new offices also include extensive training facilities suitable for supporting the growing reseller base and a purpose-built product development suite to support the company’s team of developers, programmers and testers that are responsible for creating and enhancing industry-leading voice and data recording solutions.

Iain Worthington, CEO of Red Box Recorders, commented: “This move is an important move for the company that will ensure we are well placed for current and future growth. By enhancing the working environment and facilities for our UK team, we will be able to continue to enhance our support to our global network by delivering the necessary processes, products and services.”
