The Professional Planning Forum has launched a 12-month challenge to help organisations deliver to their flexibility needs.

At the heart of this initiative is the desire to help organisations identify and deliver to their actual flexibility needs – neither wasting resourcing nor underperforming on customer expectations.

Organisations are invited to participate in a series of events to learn, understand and discuss their volatility and flexibility requirements through a series of 3 workshops.

These will be held in 6 UK regions during February/March, June/July and September/October, with a final closing session at their National Best Practice seminar in October 2014.

Designed for Planning, Real-Time Forecasters and Schedulers, Operational Managers, Finance, HR and Marketing, the purpose of each workshop will be to:

Phil Anderson

“We identified that many organisations do not understand the actual volatility of their workload and their actual flexibility requirement,” said Phil Anderson, Contact Centre Specialist at the Planning Forum. “How can you plan accurately without quantifying accurately what you are planning for?”

Member organisations will be bringing colleagues from across their organisation to different sessions to share the learning as well as gain from their perspective. It is an opportunity for them to develop their planning knowledge and understanding, make a difference to their organisation’s planning and be a part of the development of planning best practice.
