Postcode Anywhere has released Capture+.
Their latest international validation software offers a smarter way of finding an address.
The new release – which can be used to help improve data quality and reduce Average Handling Time – includes searching enhancements and a greater tolerance for classic data-entry mistakes. This makes taking customer details over the phone quicker and more accurate.
The software expands on the web-based “what’s my postcode?” technology that the company created a decade ago to provide a better way of capturing international addresses.
New features include:
- Improved address searching – Call centre operatives can omit multiple words from an address line, or miss whole address lines altogether and still find a customer’s address. It can also recognise common misspellings.
- Filtering – Results can be filtered to only show business or residential addresses.
- Multilingual – If a call centre works across borders, users can type in English, Welsh or a mixture of both and receive results in their preferred language.
- Responsive – Find an address on any device.

“Correct data is the grease that keeps the cogs of any call centre working. Without it, customers cannot be dealt with efficiently, leads are lost and the process breaks down, resulting in upset callers and lasting reputation damage,” said Guy Mucklow, CEO at Postcode Anywhere. “By providing features which no other address validation company can offer, such as daily Royal Mail updates as standard, Postcode Anywhere bring the freshest data and the best service to the call centre and at point-of-sale.”
