Serenova, formerly LiveOps Cloud, a leading contact center-as-a-service (CCaaS) provider, announced that the company has hired Keith Geneva as chief financial officer (CFO). As Serenova experiences record growth and increasing demand for its CCaaS software, Geneva’s strong record of scaling companies, maximizing revenue growth, and driving profitability will be key components of the company’s success.

Before joining Serenova, Geneva was the Group Finance Director for the Portfolio Operations at Marlin Equity Partners. Geneva is already familiar with Serenova as he was an advisor to the company after Marlin Equity Partners’ purchase of the company in December 2015. He performed post-deal implementation and ongoing portfolio management for Serenova. In his role as CFO, Geneva leads corporate finance and investor relations at Serenova.

“The caliber of experience that Keith brings to the role of CFO is vital to Serenova’s aggressive growth plans and ongoing success,” said Vasili Triant, CEO of Serenova. “His work with leading enterprise software companies through rapid growth—and passion for building great companies—make him an ideal fit, especially as we roll out aggressive growth plans for 2017 and beyond. Given Keith’s background with our investors, and his depth of insight into our business and the markets we serve, there’s really no greater endorsement he could have given us than joining our cause directly.”

“With such terrific momentum, it’s an exciting time to be joining Serenova,” said Geneva. “The Contact Center market shift to cloud-based platforms is inevitable, but still just in the beginning phase. The company’s divestiture last year gives it a pure software focus. And, with its new contact center-as-a-service platform, CxEngage, we’re in a fantastic position to both lead the market migration to cloud and further accelerate growth in the process.”

With almost 20 years of financial management experience focused on growth stage private equity and venture-backed technology companies, Geneva acquired extensive knowledge and a broad range of expertise in his role with Marlin Equity Partners. Prior to his time at Marlin, Geneva was a Vice President at ConvaTec where he led the group focused on global reporting, consolidations, acquisitions, and integrations. He previously held similar positions at Ernst & Young and Bristol-Myers Squibb. He began his career in finance as an accountant at KPMG.
