National Customer Service Week 2015 will commence on Monday 5th October. Here are some ideas on how you can celebrate.

Supported by The Institute of Customer Service, National Customer Service Week (NCSW) is a week-long opportunity to raise awareness of customer service and the role it plays in successful business practice.

NCSW will be taking place this year during the first full week in October, from 5th to 9th October, and will focus on 5 key themes (one for each day of the week):

  • Monday – Know your customer
  • Tuesday – Customer complaints MOT
  • Wednesday – Return on investment
  • Thursday – Employee engagement and culture
  • Friday – Recognition

Last year, the Neopost contact centre – based in Romford – celebrated National Customer Service Week by decorating their department with balloons and posters.

The Neopost contact centre decorated for National Customer Service Week 2014.

The team also put together a schedule of fun activities to support the event, such as “just for fun” challenges. These included a caption quiz – ‘Putting words in the mouth’ of the company’s executive – and a “30 unique facts about us” game, where agents were awarded prizes for guessing who said what.
