Calabrio has announced the winner of its Wrong Tools competition.
Anton Core of Co Wexford in Ireland will receive an iPad as the overall winner of the recent #WrongTools competition – for his image of a man cutting the grass with some scissors (left).
#WrongTools ran across Facebook, Twitter and Call Centre Helper and gave participants the opportunity to submit Vines and selfies depicting situations where people try to perform everyday tasks with what is clearly “the wrong tool for the job”.
From grooming to gardening, and a host of domestic disasters, there was no end to the creativity and imagination that entrants shared.
But despite all the fun, there is a very real message for the contact centre. Contact centres are where real people have real conversations that have real impact.
It’s the place where brands are built or broken, where customer relationships flourish or flounder. Yet all too often, we have to use tools and technologies that fail to support the levels of customer experience that we aspire to.
Contact centres should be built for people, and be powered by smarter, more intuitive technology. It’s the new way to think about optimisation.
