SequenceShift Integrates Secure Payments Into Zendesk

Secure payments concept

SequenceShift has announced a new integration with Zendesk for contact centre.

The integration allows contact centres using Zendesk for contact centre to capture payments securely without exposing cardholder data to agents, call recordings, or core contact-centre systems.

By removing card data from the contact centre environment, organisations can reduce their PCI compliance scope while maintaining established workflows and customer interactions.

As contact centres continue to modernise and support distributed workforces, secure payment handling is increasingly viewed as a core operational requirement.

The SequenceShift integration is designed to embed secure payment capture directly into existing Zendesk workflows, avoiding additional tooling or disruption to day-to-day operations.

“Our focus has always been on removing unnecessary risk and complexity from payment interactions”, said Dimitri Muntean. Managing Director at SequenceShift.

“By extending our platform to Zendesk for contact centre, we’re giving teams a practical way to meet compliance requirements while preserving agent efficiency and customer trust.”

The integration includes a number of capabilities designed to support compliance and operational consistency.

Cardholder data is isolated from agent desktops, recordings, and contact-centre infrastructure, helping to simplify PCI compliance. Agents continue to work within familiar Zendesk workflows, with no changes to call handling or customer interaction processes.

The Zendesk for contact centre integration builds on SequenceShift’s broader approach to providing secure and scalable payment infrastructure for contact centres built on Amazon Connect.

With existing support for Amazon Connect Agent Workspace and Salesforce Service Cloud Voice, the addition of Zendesk for contact centre further expands SequenceShift’s ecosystem-focused approach to secure phone payments across the Amazon Connect cloud contact centre platform.
