Some of the best contact centres celebrated their success at the South West Contact Centre Awards 2014.
Hosted this year by comedian Rob Beckett, the awards aim to recognise and reward the best Contact Centres and the services they provide – encouraging healthy competition, ongoing improvement and challenging negative perceptions of the Contact Centre Industry.
Individual Categories
Support Person of the Year
Sasha Collin from Screwfix.

Sales Agent of the Year
Highly commended – Daniel Critten from Jaywing (accepted by Jaywing).

Geraldine Drean of Brittany Ferries was crowned overall winner.

Best Customer Service Representative
Highly commended – Vickie Taylor (Mira Showers).

Simon Burrough from Motability Operations scooped the winning place.

Trainer of the Year
Jonny Snell of Local World was announced as the winner. The category was sponsored by ISV.

Team Leader of the Year
EDF Energy’s Daniel Plater.

Support Manager of the Year
Highly commended – Alan Hughes of Panacea Finance.

Joint award to both Julia Whiteley (Jaywing) and Helen Bennett (InterCall Europe).

Contact Centre Manager of the Year.
Capita Life & Pensions’ Belinda Rodwell.

Highly commended – Imperial Tobacco.

Best Shared Services initiative
SouthWest One for their unprecedented reaction to the flooding in the region earlier this year.

Performance and Quality award
Serco named as winners. The award was sponsored by Nexidia.

Contact Centre of the Year 2014
Highly commended – Curo.

Screwfix scooped the overall award.
