Talkdesk has been named in the 2023 Forbes Cloud 100 for the fifth consecutive year, holding steady at #8 despite turbulence across this year’s rankings.

Market contraction offset by artificial intelligence (AI) innovation created a unique shift in order among the world’s most elite cloud companies, according to Forbes.

Talkdesk retained its position by delivering key AI capabilities and vertical industry products to its already-renowned cloud contact centre platform and experiencing continued worldwide growth this year.

The Cloud 100 is the definitive ranking of the top 100 private cloud companies in the world, published by Forbes in partnership with Bessemer Venture Partners and Salesforce Ventures.

“Talkdesk has changed customer experience by helping thousands of enterprises drive exceptional outcomes for their customers and improve their bottom line,” said Tiago Paiva, CEO and founder, Talkdesk.

“The foundation of our success is our AI-powered cloud contact centre platform, Talkdesk CX Cloud” and our unrelenting belief in continuous innovation, which has added industry-leading capabilities year over year. We are grateful to be recognized once again by Forbes, Bessemer Venture Partners and Salesforce Ventures.”

For the eighth consecutive year, the Cloud 100 reviewed submissions from hundreds of cloud startups and private companies.

The Cloud 100 evaluation process involved ranking companies across four factors: market leadership (35%), estimated valuation (30%), operating metrics (20%), and people & culture (15%).

For market leadership, the Cloud 100 enlists the help of a judging panel of public cloud company CEOs who assist in evaluating and ranking their private company peers.

Founded in 2011, Talkdesk has an impressive history of introducing new technology innovation each year, including industry-specific cloud contact centre products for healthcare providers, banking, insurance, retail, and more, applications driven by AI and automation, including Talkdesk AI Trainer, Talkdesk Virtual Agent, Talkdesk Agent Assist and 70+ out-of-the-box integrations to bring modern customer experience to life across the entire enterprise.

Talkdesk CX Cloud is a trusted, flexible and innovative contact centre platform that leverages AI and automation, with applications for customer self-service, omnichannel engagement, workforce engagement, employee collaboration and customer experience analytics.

All of these applications are native on the Talkdesk open platform with a shared set of services including a common data model, reporting, dashboards, workflows, AI and automations for faster time-to-value and reduced total cost of ownership (TCO).
