This month we bring you news of changes at NewVoiceMedia and Red Box Recorders, new appointments at Intelecom, Eclipse Marketing and Confirmit, new offices for Sinclair Voicenet and business acquisition for Capita plc.

Eclipse Marketing adds call centre manager

Eclipse Marketing has continued to grow its senior team with a raft of appointments, including Nichole Rushton as Call Centre Manager.

Nichole will be responsible for ensuring that Eclipse is fully equipped to service the needs of its existing and future clients through process improvements, cross-training of staff, and growing the robust range of services on offer to clients across its multi-channel operation.

Red Box management buyout

Red Box Recorders has undergone a management buyout (MBO) to support the continuing expansion of its global operations.

The buyout is backed by a £14 million investment from ISIS Equity Partners, with Cavendish Corporate Finance advising on the deal.

CEO Lee Jones will lead the company with continued support from his experienced senior management team. The MBO will facilitate the continued development of the business, which will include taking advantage of new business opportunities within overseas markets, and extending Red Box’s global workforce by almost 50%.

Lee Jones, CEO of Red Box Recorders, commented: “This latest development will give us the resources to invest in the business and drive growth by supporting our resellers, expanding internationally and continuing to develop leading technology solutions.”


Intelecom appoints new Operations Director and expands its solutions architects team

Intelecom Group AS has announced the appointment of David Whitgift as UK Operations Director.

In this role, Whitgift heads up a growing team of specialist solutions architects focused on meeting the demand from blue chip organisations for Connect, the multichannel cloud contact solution from Intelecom.

NewVoiceMedia is growing at more than twice the rate of the cloud contact centre market

In response to increasing demand in the APAC market, NewVoiceMedia has announced its new regional headquarters in Sydney, Australia.

The new office is located in Tower 2 of the Sydney Darling Park business centre and is just minutes from Sydney International Airport and Town Hall Station.

Confirmit announces new EVP of Product Management

Confirmit have appointed Terry Lawlor as Executive Vice President for Product Management.  In this role, Lawlor will manage all aspects of product management, including strategy development, product definition, and product representation in client and marketing activities.

Sinclair Voicenet expands operations with new offices

Sinclair Voicenet has opened a new regional office in Bury, Greater Manchester.  It will provide an operational base for their growing sales and service teams, enabling the company to strengthen its presence in the M62 corridor.

“As our business continues to grow across the UK, we recognised the importance of a local presence to provide major contact centre customers in the North of England with an even higher level of service and support,” commented Peter Gough, a Director of Sinclair Voicenet. “The opening of this new office is further evidence of our commitment to building a lasting presence throughout the UK and investing in long-term customer relationships.”


Capita acquires managed-learning services provider, KnowledgePool

Capita plc announces that it has acquired KnowledgePool Group Ltd, a managed-learning services provider.

Chris Sharp, managing director for Capita’s learning and development business, said: “KnowledgePool provides a world-class service that aligns learning with business objectives to improve performance and deliver results.  Customers also benefit from access to over 2,500 international suppliers, bespoke e-learning and its ability to deliver efficiencies and evaluate return on investment. This acquisition further enhances Capita’s capability to support organisations to meet regulatory training requirements and develop the knowledge and skills of their workforce.”
