Five9 has introduced new capabilities – AI Agents and AI Trust & Governance.

This marks a step forward in its approach to intelligent customer experience. These additions are powered by the Five9 Agentic Experience Engine, the core of its Genius AI Architecture, and are intended to support scalable, adaptive, and context-aware CX operations.

The AI Agents offer a self-service experience that adjusts to various levels of AI maturity, while also allowing seamless hand-offs to human agents when needed.

They’re equipped with tools like the AI Summary Node, which is said to be able to automatically summarize both voice and digital interactions, helping live agents quickly grasp the context.

The Knowledge Node draws on enterprise information to generate relevant responses using Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), while pre-built templates help organizations quickly develop AI agents tailored to specific industries.

Developers can use Code Crafter, an AI-powered tool for generating JavaScript functions, to streamline coding tasks and reduce manual effort.

To support secure and responsible AI use, Five9’s Trust & Governance framework introduces detailed guardrails, proactive threat monitoring, and tools for auditing AI behaviour.

These include capabilities like prompt-monitoring dashboards and hallucination detection, aimed at ensuring consistent, accurate performance.

Together, these innovations reflect Five9’s focus on building a more intelligent, adaptable, and governed CX environment through its Agentic Experience Engine.
