Fusion appoints new team leaders Fusion Contact Centre Services, part of the BGL Group, has appointed seven new team leaders. Three of the recruits will take on their new role following internal promotions, after the former advisors took the opportunity to step up and lead their own teams, as part of an initiative to drive career development. Daren Homewood “Developing our people is a big part of what we’re about. It’s important for us to recognise the potential in our employees and act upon it,” said Daren Homewood, Head of Site. “I had no idea how quickly I could progress – I had only been with Fusion for a year when I was promoted,” said Daniel Ledbury, one of the promoted team leaders. “I was able to gain hands-on, practical experience and was really pleased with the support I’d been given, such as feedback meetings and coaching sessions. I had a fantastic relationship with my team, learning new skills and processes along the way, so I was delighted to have been offered the promotion at the end of it.” Echo Managed Services joins Institute of Customer Service Nigel Baker Echo Managed Services has become a full corporate member of the Institute of Customer Service – the independent professional membership body for customer service. “The Institute of Customer Service – with its commitment to professionalism, standards and ethics – is all about supporting members in transforming customer service, so joining the Institute makes perfect sense for Echo and provides us with an important platform for sharing new ideas and best practice,” said Nigel Baker, Managing Director at Echo.
