This month we bring you news from VoltDelta, Plantronics, Bright, Jabra and Genesys.

Bright continues to grow UK management team

Bright has grown its management team by appointing Ashley Williamson, Michael Lynch and Simon Thorpe to head up key roles within the business.

  • Ashley Williamson joins as Business Development Manager and will take the lead in client development and acquisition.
  • Michael Lynch joins as Client Relationship Manager and will work alongside Bright’s growing client base to help improve customer service operations.
  • Simon Thorpe joins the business on a permanent basis heading up Sales and Marketing and at the same time continuing his role as programme director of the Gold Standard.

VoltDelta named as a ‘Most Promising Solution Provider’

CIO Review has chosen VoltDelta for its 20 Most Promising Contact Centre Technology Solution Providers, based on evaluation of the company’s capabilities in providing cloud-based contact centre technology.

The annual list of companies is selected by a panel of experts and members of CIO Review’s editorial board to recognise and promote technology entrepreneurship.

Jabra welcomes new starters for 2015…

Jabra has welcomed a number of new starters into its Sales and Marketing teams.

  • Steven Whitehead has been appointed as a Corporate Sales Director – and will be responsible for the High Touch and local Global Account business within the UK.
  • Rick Wallis has joined as Business Development Manager – SI Channel. His role will be to recruit and manage future SI partners joining the Jabra UK&I WIN Partner Programme.
  • Fahad Quadri is the new Internal Sales Team Leader and will be managing a new Internal Sales Team.
  • Barbara Serre has joined as the new Channel Marketing Executive to support the local marketing and sales teams.

…And celebrates record growth

Jabra has announced record growth in 2014.

End-of-year results show that against budget Jabra UK & Ireland achieved close to 25% growth in 2014 versus 2013, while also beating their sales target set for the region at the beginning of 2014.

This can be attributed to a variety of factors, from increasing the number of trading partners during the year to securing a number of key new logos.

Philip Vanhoutte named ‘New Way to Work Global Ambassador’

Philip Vanhoutte, Senior Vice President and Managing Director for Europe and Africa at Plantronics, has been named as a ‘New Way to Work Global Ambassador’ by Unify.

Over the past few years, he has researched and globally implemented radical new workplace changes to support growing trends in agile work communication.

Genesys appoints new Senior Regional Marketing Manager

In line with its commitment to expand operations and business presence across the Greater Middle East region, Genesys has appointed Atalay Aktas as the Senior Regional Marketing Manager for its Middle East and Turkey operations.

“The markets of the Middle East and Turkey are of strategic importance to Genesys, and we are committed to introducing our latest solutions to meet the growing demands of our customers and partners,” said Mohamed Afifi, Managing Director of Genesys in the Middle East. “We are confident that Atalay’s appointment will add significant momentum to our operations in the Greater Middle East and will lead the company towards further growth in this highly promising region.”
