Call Centre Homeworking Checklist

7,956

Thinking of introducing homeworking into your call or contact centre?  Here are a couple of homeworking cheat sheets (both for the employee and for the supervisor) that can be used to explore an individual’s suitability for homeworking.

The cheat sheets were kindly supplied by Richard Kenny of Plantronics.  Plantronics developed these checklists for their internal use when they rolled out homeworking across their European Support Centre in Hoofdorp, Netherlands.

The cheat sheets look at the overall suitability of homeworking, as well as identifying any equipment that the company may need to supply.  Not all employees are suitable for homeworking (e.g. a young person living at home with their parents).
