Agents Skydive for Charity 201 Filed under - Archived Content Contact centre employees in Scotland have completed a skydive in aid of a children’s charity. The employees from Webhelp UK in Falkirk completed the skydive to raise money for Neuroblastoma Children’s Cancer Alliance UK (NCCA UK) – a children’s cancer charity that helps children access particular clinical treatments that are currently only available outside the UK. The team who took part in the day included Peter Bell (Team Leader), Chris Jess (Deputy Team Leader) and Danielle Swinney (Quality Consultant), as well as Associates Gary Scrimshaw, Kayleigh Buchanan and Kyle Murray. Fundraising and local volunteering projects are a key part of the work undertaken at Webhelp UK’s sites around the country, but this was the first time anyone from the company took on a skydive. “The work carried out by NCCA is fantastic and I immediately wanted to contribute to this terrific cause,” said Gary Scrimshaw, who organised the event. “Although the idea of a skydive was a little daunting at first, it was great to see so many of the Webhelp team keen to be involved. It’s something I’ve always wanted to do and being able to raise £3,600 for NCCA was an added bonus!” Author: Megan Jones Published On: 22nd Oct 2014 - Last modified: 22nd Mar 2017 Read more about - Archived Content Contact Centre Reports, Surveys and White Papers Get the latest exciting call centre reports, specialist whitepapers and interesting case-studies.
