Contact centre rings future changes thanks to flexible offices

Ambitious small businesses have to be creative, smart and flexible to succeed, and the same can be said of their workspace requirements, according to Neil Wilson, who runs his fast-growing Gateshead-based First Contact branded businesses from serviced office suites owned and managed by The Office Co.

Now employing 30 human resources, sales and administrative support staff at Gateshead’s Metropolitan House, Neil’s initial requirement in building his business was for a cost-effective but highly flexible workspace solution that could support a growing and expanding operation.

“The most practical, versatile and cost-effective solution for us was to opt for managed and serviced office accommodation provided by The Office Co.”said Neil.

A shared office allows tenants, who are mostly similar in size and scale, to co-habit and cooperate under the same roof at a lower cost than that of a traditional office lease, and on very flexible terms. They can also take advantage of a shared reception, which provides a tailored service on their behalf that includes handling all inbound calls and deliveries.

Aspect Software appoints Stephen Ball to Europe & Africa SVP

Aspect Software has formally appointed Stephen Ball to the position of Senior Vice President (SVP) of Europe & Africa.

Stephen will spearhead Aspect’s ambitious plans to increase its cloud contact centre market share in the region. He brings over 25 years’ experience in sales and general management leadership in the technology space.

Stephen will work closely with Aspect’s senior leadership team, headed up by CEO Stewart Bloom, to create a brand-new regional vision, structure and market momentum.

Commenting on his appointment and why he decided to move to Aspect, he said: “I was attracted to Aspect for three reasons: a world-class global leadership team with clear passion, drive and vision; an already successful business, yet with plenty of potential for growth; and finally, a wide remit for a leader to shape the future of the regional theatre.”

Promotion within Forum Events

Chloe has worked within the production department since January, where she has been responsible for the production of online and print advertisements between Forum and industry specific partners.
