National Outsourcing Association Awards – Winners! 1,831 Filed under - Archived Content, Contact Centre Awards The National Outsourcing Association Awards (NOAAs) took place on 25th October at the Park Plaza Riverbank Hotel in London. Now in their 9th year, the NOAAs celebrate best practice in outsourcing projects, and reward end-users, suppliers, advisors and destinations. The awards were presented by TV comedian, Josh Widdicombe. The winners were: BPO Project of the Year: Logica, now part of CGI, and ELEXON IT Outsourcing Project of the Year: HM Revenue & Customs Financial Services Outsourcing Project of the Year: ELIX-IRR – Standard Bank Public Sector Outsourcing Project of the Year: BBC Telecommunications, Utilities and High-Tech Outsourcing Project of the Year: Firstsource Solutions – O2 Offshoring Project of the Year: Wipro Technologies – BT Lean Engagement: Task Closure Rate Improvement In-house Professional of the Year: Jim Hemmington – BBC Outsourcing Rising Star: Amanda Wright – Standard Life Plc Outsourcing Service Provider of the Year: HCL Technologies Outsourcing Contact Centre Provider of the Year: Firstsource Solutions Outsourcing Advisory of the Year: Herbert Smith Offshoring Destination of the Year: South Africa Outsourcing End-User of the Year: National Rail Enquiries Award for Innovation in Outsourcing: Firstsource Solutions – giffgaff Award for Delivering Business Value in Outsourcing: arvato – Sefton Metropolitan Borough Council Shared Service Centre of the Year: Teleperformance Award for Academic Achievement: Lorna Baker – Land Registry and Richard Smith – HML Award for Corporate Social Responsibility: SPi Global Skills Development Programme of the Year: Luxoft Chairman’s Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Outsourcing Industry: HMRC’s Phil Pavitt and CSC’s Ian Roberts Martyn Hart, NOA Chairman, said: “It’s great to see companies and individuals getting recognition for outsourcing excellence – championing success is something that doesn’t happen enough in the outsourcing industry.
