TalkTalk Business has extended its partnership with Mitel to boost its unified communications and collaboration offerings.

The news follows the increase in demand for solutions that improve remote working in light of the Covid-19 that has taken hold over the last year.

Mitel’s cloud-based solutions, MiCloud Connect and MiCloud Flex, enhance TalkTalk Business’s suite of connectivity and voice services for businesses whose employees are dividing their time between home and the office.

The cloud-based solution provides voice, video-sharing and contact centre capabilities on desktop and mobile, helping employees to work more efficiently.

“Working habits have shifted dramatically over the last year, and many operational changes are here to stay,” said Ian Cairns, enterprise director at TalkTalk Business.

“More than ever, organizations require a forward-thinking IT strategy that drives productivity and enables collaboration.”

“In an increasingly virtual world, there is a clear need to combine reliable, fast connectivity with tools that facilitate better communication – and through our partnership with Mitel, we’re helping to meet this demand.”

Mitel’s cloud-based solutions can be scaled up or down according to the size of the organization. It also offers end-to-end encryption, giving businesses a secure way to manage users, permissions, company devices and billing from a single application.

Companies can also record calls and run virtual contact centres through these unified communications solutions, with built-in reporting.

Additionally, MiCloud Connect and MiCloud Flex integrate with popular enterprise software, including Teams, Salesforce, Office365 and Google.

“Mitel has long held the vision of a multifaceted cloud – encompassing private, hybrid, and public – that meets the distinct needs of every business, allowing each company to migrate at its own pace to the model best suited to its strategy,” added Richard Roberts, vice president, UK&I and Northern Europe at Mitel.

“By combining TalkTalk Business’s connectivity solutions with Mitel MiCloud, we enable companies of all sizes to benefit from end-to-end secure, reliable and flexible communication and collaboration capabilities to smoothly run their day-to-day operations in a hybrid working model.”

“This is an exciting new phase of our long-standing relationship with TalkTalk Business that confirms our mutual trust and ambition to provide solutions able to adapt to specific customers’ business needs.”
