Jabra has been analysing the attitude of modern contact centres to the EU Control of Noise at Work legislation, and has conducted a survey across UK call centre managers and  agents. The findings offer a sneak peek into compliance with this legislation and will be available to take home at the show.

The report also highlights the benefits of using noise-protective technology, such as the new Jabra LINK 850, the first audio processor that is compatible with both standard telephony systems and VoIP platforms. It features PeakStop technology that stops excessively loud sounds from passing through the headset into the ear, protecting against hearing damage.  Features such as these benefit workplace quality in the eyes of agents, reducing the risk of employee attrition due to less than satisfactory working conditions. When purchased with a Jabra headset, the Jabra LINK 850 protects agents’ hearing, delivers quicker call completion and provides compliance to Noise at Work legislation.

Jabra will be located on stand E22 to unveil the Jabra LINK 850 alongside its portfolio of headsets, connection cords and enablers, all specifically designed to optimise sound quality in the call centre environment.
