Agents in Peterborough have donated their time to helping their local Guide Dogs Mobility team.
During National Guide Dogs Week, four volunteers from a Fusion Contact Centre gave up their time to raise awareness and funds on behalf of Guide Dogs Peterborough.
“It’s great to take some time out of our everyday lives to help the local community,” said Sophie Cipriano, who sits on its charity committee at Fusion. “Guide Dogs Peterborough is a charity which many of our advisors are passionate about, as they carry out such important work that benefits so many.”
“The support that we received from the volunteers was invaluable, and they played an instrumental role in raising a substantial amount of money and awareness for the cause,” said Daniel Ingram, Volunteering Consultant at Guide Dogs Peterborough.
The company’s volunteering approach is part of a charitable strategy, which aims to ‘Reduce Poverty and Create Prosperity’ and donate £3 million to good causes by June 2017.
