Call Centre raises funds for Ayrshire Hospice

At-Start

Volunteers from Stellar, a call centre and business process customer management specialist based in Irvine, Ayrshire and Paisley, Renfrewshire, kindly donated their time and effort to raise funds for charity, by participating in the 2012 freshnlo Pedal for Scotland event.

The event consisted of a 47 mile cycle ride between Glasgow and Edinburgh designed to encourage people to get out on their bikes more often, and Stellar volunteers Alan Jaszewski, Cameron Shaw, Darren Mackie, Duncan Rout, Gordon Thomson and Jim McQuater used this event to raise funds for the Ayrshire Hospice.

Gordon Thomson added;  “The team thoroughly enjoyed taking part in this event for the third year in a row. It was a challenging ride that you certainly felt in your legs afterwards, but it was also a great opportunity to help raise funds for the Ayrshire Hospice, which is a local charity.

A total of £883.21 was raised by the Stellar team in aid of the Ayrshire Hospice, with an additional £160.00 being raised through Gift Aid.
