Call centre company Res-Q is planning to create 200 jobs over the next 18 months after taking on new premises.
The company has reached capacity at its existing locations and needs room to expand its operations and has now signed a 10-year lease for Criterion House in George Street, Hull, and is investing £500,000 refurbishing the five-storey building over the next 12 months.
Res-Q began trading seven years ago with just 12 staff but now employs more than 500 people. The company has taken on more than 50 staff to handle its growing workload since the end of January.
Sales Director Matt Marshall said: “This is a major milestone for the company and we are very excited about the opportunity it presents for the business and our loyal, hard-working employees.”
“It’s important for us that we have a building that we can grow into, not only to accommodate the organic growth from existing customers but new clients as well.”
Managing Director Nic Marshall said: “There will be jobs right across the board for call centre agents, managers, quality assurance, recruitment and training staff. Then there will also be the indirect jobs boost as a result of 200 more wage packets going into the local economy every week.“
