Cisco and ServiceNow have announced an expanded partnership.
Aimed at supporting enterprise-scale adoption of AI with a focus on risk management and governance, the collaboration brings together Cisco’s infrastructure and security capabilities with ServiceNow’s AI-driven workflow platform.
This integration is designed to help organizations manage and scale AI more effectively across their operations while maintaining control, visibility, and compliance.
As part of the first phase, Cisco’s AI Defense capabilities will integrate with ServiceNow’s Security Operations (SecOps), offering customers improved visibility, real-time protection, and coordinated incident response for AI applications.
This also includes tools for vulnerability assessment and governance, aligning AI systems with organizational compliance standards.
With the growing use of internal and third-party AI applications, businesses face increased complexity in managing security and oversight.
Cisco and ServiceNow aim to address this through platform-based solutions that bridge infrastructure, security, and operational workflows.
Amit Zavery, president, chief product officer, and chief operating officer at ServiceNow, said, “Through this partnership, Cisco and ServiceNow are aligning security and AI operations at the platform level.
By combining Cisco’s advanced AI security with ServiceNow’s role as the AI control tower for the enterprise, we’re helping customers operationalize trust – ensuring that AI is governed, secure, and ready to scale.”
Field trials are set to begin shortly, with broader availability expected in the second half of 2025. Additional integrations are planned later in the year.
