Many of us have seen our share of hair-raising experiences but not like Jim Moir of Tesco Customer Service Centre in Cardiff. After years of living with long hair, Jim has had it all cut off to donate to the Little Princess Trust, who makes real-hair wigs for kids suffering from hair loss.

Jim had his hair cut off in front of a crowd at the Tesco Customer Service centre in Cardiff. He collected money for the Tesco Charity partners, with the hair itself being carefully collected so it can be made into a wig.

Jim said, “I decided to cut my hair as a team member told me about the Little Princess Trust and how much donated hair means to them.”

The Little Princess Trust provides free real-hair wigs to children suffering from hair loss. Hair loss at a young age can be very traumatic, with some of the most common causes being the side effects of cancer treatment and from alopecia. The charity accepts donations of hair from both men and women to help children around the UK through some of the most difficult times of their lives.
