Nominations for the Customer Contact Innovation Awards 2014 will be closing on 22nd October.

Organised by the Professional Planning Forum – as part of their work to promote best practice in customer contact – these awards showcase initiatives that make customer contact a pleasure for customers and make contact centres a great place to work.

Judges look for outstanding success in contact centre planning, analytics, MI, reporting, customer experience and quality, and performance management. They are also excited by strategic innovation, use of social media and integration across the whole enterprise, including back office, field and retail.

“Each year the Innovation Awards demonstrate how far the industry is moving forward – most of our members’ workplaces are nothing like The Call Centre!” said Paul Smedley, Founder and Chair of the Professional Planning Forum. “Even the hardened professionals who judge the awards are bowled over by the difference that nominees are making to improve life for both their customers and colleagues. Consistently, the award winners have also demonstrated the vital role that support teams play in making successful change happen.”

Winning entries have to demonstrate measurable improvement, evidence of an integrated strategy for performance improvement and the role modelling of best practice.
