RingCentral has today been recognized as a ‘Leader’ in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) Worldwide report for the fifth consecutive year.
In the Magic Quadrant report, published on 30 July 2019, RingCentral was positioned furthest for completeness of vision in the Leaders quadrant. The annual report looks at the UCaaS market and highlights the most influential solutions in the sector.
RingCentral’s inclusion is thanks to its completeness of vision, praised for a number of features including standout voice capabilities that put it ahead of Google’s own UCaaS services.
Furthermore, the global nature of the service has been mentioned thanks to a wide network that can help set up, support and upgrade the solution wherever a customer might be based with ease and efficiency. This along with the appeal of the solution to many different types of business from SME to enterprises seeking a ‘mobile-first’ UCaaS solution’ make it a top choice for businesses of any size according to the report.
Further strengths cited in the report:
- RingCentral’s 30% YoY revenue growth and proven ability to support clients above 5,000 end users
- Gartner receives ‘significant client interest’ on RingCentral thanks to enterprise brand recognition
- Businesses view the RingCentral mobile experience and analytics dashboard as highly effective
- RingCentral possess a robust API ecosystem that includes integrations with:
- Theta Lake
This year Gartner has ditched a standalone UC report in favour of focusing on reports for UCaaS and CCaaS (Contac Centre As a Service). This has been cited as an indicator for the role cloud solutions are now playing in the market.
“Enterprises are increasingly recognizing the value of the RingCentral platform due to its unique integration of voice, video, team messaging, and contact centre in one seamless experience,” said Dave Sipes, chief operating officer, RingCentral.
“We’re proud to once again be recognized as a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Unified Communications as a Service, Worldwide. We believe this validates our leadership in product innovation, global delivery, and customer success.”
