Vonage, part of Ericsson, has been named a Leader in the 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant” for Communications Platform as a Service and ranked number one for Video in the 2026 Gartner Critical Capabilities for CPaaS report.
This is the fourth time Vonage has been recognised in the Gartner report. The company said the recognition reflects its focus on programmable communications, network APIs, security, and fraud prevention capabilities.
Speaking about the recognition, Christophe Van de Weyer, President and Head of Business Unit API for Vonage, said: “Vonage is thrilled to be ranked #1 for Video Use Case in the 2026 Gartner Critical Capabilities for CPaaS, and to be named a Leader in the 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant for CPaaS.”

According to the report, Vonage achieved a 4.8 out of 5 score for Video Use Case capabilities and a 4.7 score for Advanced Security. Gartner also highlighted the company’s messaging, voice, video, email, and authentication capabilities across its communications and network APIs.
The company additionally pointed to customer feedback published through Gartner Peer Insights, which included comments such as “Best API in the messaging market” and “Professional, Responsive, and Easy To Work With”.
Vonage said it is one of two vendors recognised across Gartner’s CPaaS, contact centre as a Service (CCaaS), and Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) Magic Quadrant reports.
