Vonage has been positioned in the Leaders Category in the 2026 IDC MarketScape for Worldwide Communications Engagement Platforms (CEP).
The assessment evaluates vendors on capabilities, strategy and their ability to support enterprise communication needs.
According to IDC, “Vonage has established itself as a force in the communications engagement platform market, with its unified communications and contact centre built using its programmable communications APIs, earning its place as a Leader in the IDC MarketScape for Communications Engagement Platforms.”
The report highlights the company’s ability to integrate communications tools with broader enterprise systems, noting its support for cross-channel engagement and developer flexibility.
It also points to evolving capabilities linked to mobile network intelligence. As IDC states, “with the ability to now tap directly into the intelligence of mobile networks that enable developers to build network functionality into enterprise applications, including UCaaS and CCaaS, Vonage is well-positioned to meet the evolving and increasingly complex cross-channel engagement demands of businesses of all sizes.”
Further findings in the report note that “portfolio has evolved to provide requisite omnichannel customer engagement, leverage AI-driven personalization, and automation.”
It adds, “Most importantly, it has a global backbone and footprint that facilitate scale and reliability and the ability to meet enterprise requirements for compliance, security, and trust.”
Vonage also commented on the recognition, with Rodney Hassard stating, “Being named a Leader in the inaugural IDC MarketScape for Worldwide Communications Engagement Platforms is a significant milestone for Vonage.”
He added, “We believe this recognition validates our strategy and our differentiated technologies that equip enterprises to deliver innovative, exceptional customer experiences.”
