8×8 has announced a new partnership with KCOM to deliver unified communications and contact centre services to enterprise and public sector organisations across the UK.
The agreement will see the 8×8 Platform for CX – spanning voice, collaboration, contact centre and AI capabilities – delivered over KCOM’s carrier-grade infrastructure.
By running the platform on its own network, KCOM will provide customers with an integrated alternative to models that depend on third-party carrier connectivity.
KCOM supports around 8,000 enterprise customers, including organisations operating critical national infrastructure such as hospitals and emergency services.
The partnership expands its portfolio with a combined connectivity and communications offering designed to support both everyday business needs and mission-critical environments.
“For carriers such as KCOM, reliability, security, and customer trust are non-negotiable,” said Jamie Snaddon, GVP, Managing Director of EMEA at 8×8.
“By combining KCOM’s network expertise with 8×8’s unified communications and contact centre platform, we’re delivering an end-to-end solution that helps organisations support their customers, modernize their operations, and innovate with confidence.”
“Selecting the right partner was critical for us,” said Jan Collins, Managing Director at KCOM Enterprise. “We ran a rigorous tender process and looked across the market for a platform that could meet the needs of our customers, from everyday business communications through to mission-critical contact centre environments.
8×8 stood out not only for the strength of its unified communications and contact centre platform, but for its cultural alignment and the way our teams have collaborated to bring this partnership to life.”
