8×8 has received five Stevie Awards at the 24th Annual American Business Awards.
These awards included two Gold awards for Customer Service Team of the Year and Achievement in Management. Over the past three years, the company has received a total of 21 Stevie Awards.
The latest awards cover a range of areas, including team performance, leadership and technology. Additional recognitions include a Silver award for Customer Service Department of the Year (Technology Industries), a Silver for Customer Service Executive of the Year, and a Bronze for Technology Department of the Year.
The American Business Awards received more than 3,700 nominations this year, with over 230 professionals involved in the judging process. Judges commented that 8×8 is “the most effective and dependable customer service team, 8-8 is phenomenal and deserves all the applause.”
Walter Weisner, Chief Customer Officer at 8×8, said, “These awards reflect what our teams bring to customers every day – not the technology alone, but the people, processes, and judgment behind it.”
He added, “I am honoured to work with such talented individuals. Their hard work and passion are consistently recognized in these awards and customer feedback year after year, and I couldn’t be prouder.”

The awards recognise performance across customer service, management and technology, with winners announced ahead of a ceremony scheduled for June 9 in New York.
