Calabrio has expanded its CareAI healthcare project in Canada.
The initiative, built on the Wysdom acquisition, uses generative AI to address patient inquiries, reduce time to care, and support staffing needs.
Dave Rhodes, CEO of Calabrio, said, “This partnership has allowed us to develop and deploy innovative solutions for patient care contact centers. Calabrio solutions like Auto QM and Trending Topics allow healthcare providers to deliver more consistent, empathetic and high-quality care at scale.”
In its first year, CareAI managed 53% of inquiries related to long wait times, offering automated recommendations and analyzing patient-provider interactions for empathy, professionalism, and resolution quality.
Now in its second year, the project integrates healthcare-grade quality management into AI models, evaluating empathy, safety, and clinical effectiveness.
By freeing human agents to handle complex interactions, CareAI enables healthcare organizations to deliver compliant and consistent virtual care.
“These solutions are transforming the healthcare industry by addressing critical challenges with real-world, results-driven innovation,” concluded Dave Rhodes.
