Genesys, the market leader in omnichannel customer experience (CX) and contact centre solutions, today announced that Friedbert Schuh has been promoted to the position of Senior Vice President and General Manager, EMEA. In his new position Schuh will lead Genesys’ business across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He succeeds Mark Turner, who was recently appointed Executive Vice President of Global Sales and Field Operations.
As part of his new role, Schuh will focus on helping the biggest customers drive digital transformation, while delivering continued strong growth and managing the company’s channel operations throughout the EMEA region. Previously Vice President and General Manager for the DACH region, he will be succeeded by Heinrich Welter.
