Interactive Intelligence appoints 3 new Vice Presidents

Interactive Intelligence Group Inc. has added three vice president positions to further enhance the company’s cloud communications infrastructure, service and support.

Ray Cappola, Jose Martinez, and Steven Vaughan all fill newly created vice president positions, and bring a combined 48-plus years of experience to the ‘Interactive Intelligence Communications as a Service’ (CaaS) offering.

“Given that our cloud solutions have represented the fastest growing segment of our business for the past several years – with cloud-based orders up 75% last quarter alone – we decided to add several key positions to ensure we can continue offering our customers the best cloud deployment experience possible,” said Mike Szilagyi, Interactive Intelligence vice president of CaaS.


Aspect Software appoints new Vice President

Aspect Software has appointed Paul Thomas to the position of Vice President for Northern Europe. Paul will be responsible for leading and driving the sales, pre-sales and marketing activity within Europe, Middle East and Africa.

“Paul is an experienced and knowledgeable contact centre professional and we’re pleased to have him join the team to build on the strong network of customers, partners and contacts that we have throughout Northern Europe,” said Mark King, Senior VP Europe and Africa at Aspect.

“I’m looking forward to bringing my experience to help keep the company at the top of its game and exceed company goals as we revolutionise the industry by providing an innovative omni-channel solution that dramatically improves the customer experience, creates loyalty to the brand while reducing the cost to serve,” said Paul Thomas.

…and announces channel agreement

Aspect Software and Freedom Communications have signed a reseller agreement. Freedom will supply, implement and support Aspect’s entire contact centre technology portfolio in the UK.

The partnership completes Freedom’s end-to-end Unified Communications offering, consisting of Voice, Data, Connectivity, Cloud, Security and Support.

“Freedom has experience implementing and supporting communication solutions at more than 5,000 locations, with a strong foot in the public sector market, making it an ideal partner for Aspect,” said Steve Boakes, Manager, Channels & Partners, Northern Europe at Aspect. “The agreement with Freedom further widens Aspect’s offerings and we’re looking forward to working together.”


NewVoiceMedia appoints new Vice President in North America

NewVoiceMedia has appointed Jamison Powell as Vice President Sales, North America Eastern Region.

Jamison will continue to expand the sales organisation throughout North America East, accelerating growth through new customer acquisition and maintaining successful and trusted partnerships with existing customers.

Altitude Software appoints new Vice President

Altitude Software has appointed Laurent Detournay as Vice President for Northern Europe to drive the continued growth of Altitude Software in Central, Northern and Eastern Europe.

ShoreTel appoints new Chief Marketing Officer

ShoreTel has appointed Mark Roberts as Chief Marketing Officer. He has more than 20 years of technology marketing experience and brings strong technology, channel and unified communications industry expertise to the company.

ASC appoints new UK Sales Director

ASC have appointed Ali Mortimore – who has more than 20 years of telecommunications sales experience – as Sales Director of ASC UK in order to promote the company’s new workforce optimisation suite.

“I have collaborated with Alistair on telecommunications projects for 10 years and know he will spur on our already determined team with sophisticated sales strategies,” said James King, Managing Director of ASC UK. “His experience and charisma will help us achieve the highest levels of support for our valued channel partners and end users.”
