The latest Call Centre and Customer Services Summit was held on 18th – 19th September 2017 at The Hilton Deanside in Manchester.
The event seemed busier than previous years, so it looks like the switch to Manchester was well received.
Call centre Helper’s Editor, Jonty Pearce, did an interactive session called “What Contact Centres are doing Right Now”.
This session looked at the results of Call centre Helper’s survey of over 600 contact centre professionals and looked at the drivers behind some of the findings.

Jonty Pearce walked into his first call centre in 1989 and has been hooked ever since. He founded Call Centre Helper in 1989.
He is an Engineering Graduate with a background in marketing and publishing. In 2020 he won the AOP Digital Publishing Award for The Best Use of Data.
He writes and speaks on a wide variety of subjects - particularly around forecasting and scheduling. His in depth knowledge of forecasting algorithms has earned him the nickname "Mr Erlang."
